Flowers from French Immersion

This spring I attended Universit√© Sainte-Anne’s 5-week French Immersion program in Point-de-l’√©glise, Nova Scotia. It was a wonderful experience and I recommend it to anyone. As we were bound by contract to speak/write/listen/think/dream only in French, a few of my drawings from these weeks will have French notations.

Th university is right on the ocean in the Baie Sainte-Marie. Surrounding the school is a small forest (le P’tit Bois). One day, while exploring some new trails, I came across a large patch of lilies of the valley. They were everywhere and they smelled so good.

And one more image of some observational botanical sketches… this time just on the lawn in front of my residence. Perhaps some kind of buttercup? (maybe someone can help me identify it)
